I have a tooth gap. I’m trying to decide if porcelain veneers or bonding would be a better solution.

Jason,
It depends on your total goals with your smile. If you are otherwise happy with your smile and simply want to close a gap, dental bonding is the standard treatment. It’s fast and inexpensive.
If, however, there were other things about your smile you’d really love to change, then I would recommend porcelain veneers. They can change your smile completely, including the shape, size, and color. They are more expensive, but they last many years longer.
The important thing with any cosmetic procedure is you work with a dentist who has an artistic eye along with the technical proficiency. Two dentists can do the exact same porcelain veneers for the same person and you will have two totally different resulting smiles. Ideally, you want someone who has reached accreditation level with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. They’re among the top cosmetic dentists in the world.
