Dr. Marissa Emery

Midwest-born and raised, Dr. Emery attended Michigan State University, where she built a strong academic foundation and discovered her passion for healthcare and helping others. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Illinois, where she received comprehensive training in all aspects of dentistry.

Dr. Emery began practicing dentistry in 2020, in Knoxville, TN, where she honed her skills in dental surgery. She became certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics in 2022 for the placement of dermal filler and botox. She moved to Lexington, KY, in 2023.
Her expertise spans preventive care, general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. She is particularly passionate about implant dentistry, and being a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry allows for her to focus on both function and aesthetics. She is committed to staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry through continued education and professional development.

Outside of the operatory, she loves to spend her free time with her husband, Tyler, and their son, Brooks. Her hobbies are traveling, reading and staying active. Whether it’s trying new restaurants, attending Keeneland, or simply exploring the city, Dr. Emery and her family have planted their roots here in Lexington. They even named their gold retriever, Lexi, after the beautiful city they call home.
