Meet Rhonda!
We’ve decided we’d like to help you get to know the staff here at Arnold Dental a little bit better. We’ll be spotlighting a new team member every so often! This month, we’d like to introduce you to Rhonda. Rhonda is our amazing office manager. She brings a smile to everything she does, and we love having her on our team!
Job Title/Duties:
Office Manager. However, I wear many hats including patient charting, collections, confirming appointments, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, taking X-Rays, making patients feel comfortable, etc…
Best Part About Your Job:
I love a challenge! The best part of my job is having great friends to work with and making new dental family friends. I also love knowing our patients are getting the best treatment ever!
What do you like to do outside of work?
I love music and spending time with friends and family.
What was your first job?
I worked at Sylvania while in school and then at Woodford Hospital as the hospital operator and E.R. clerk.
Who inspires you and why?
My parents and grandparents. They worked hard and instilled that in all three of us children. They taught us to be independent and always be a genuinely kind person.
What is the most unique thing you’ve ever eaten?
An alligator or turtle. But to be honest…not sure about some of the foods I ate in the Dominican Republic, but it won’t hurt my feelings if I never eat them again. 😉 Ha!
If you could master one skill that you don’t already have, what would it be?
I’d love to be able to sew. I can barely sew buttons.
What are your biggest pet peeves?
People without a good work ethic and tardiness. “Help yourself to become what you’ve dreamed of.”
If you had to describe yourself using one animal, what would it be and why?
A cat because they’re clean and take care of themselves. They walk calmly and gently, but with confidence. A cat loves you no matter what and will always comfort you. They seem so content with life.
Anything else you’d like to add?
Life is no bowl of cherries but it’s only as bad as you will allow it to be. I believe if you are happy with yourself and your surroundings, it shows. Always smile and don’t be quick to judge. We never know what someone is going through or has just experienced. I always try to be positive, it makes the day go by smoothly. So keep smiling my sweet friends. 🙂
Ever since he was little Dr. J. Fred Arnold wanted to be a dentist. He has lived in Kentucky all of his life, except for three years he spent serving in the Air Force (1984-1987). He and his wife Holly have raised their family here and couldn’t imagine spending life anywhere else. They love the great schools and the emphasis on arts and culture.
