All About Janie
Welcome to November! Can you believe we’re approaching the end of 2018? This month, we’re feeling especially grateful for our wonderful staff of people who make our office run so smoothly. We couldn’t survive without our amazing team, and that’s why we want you to get to know a little bit more about them.
It’s Janie’s turn to tell us all about herself.
Job Title:
My job title is Dental Assistant. I particularly like to focus on patient care and comfort.
The best part about your job:
The best part about my job is changing people’s lives and making them smile! There’s nothing more rewarding than that.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy working out, dancing, and whenever I can– I love to go to church.
What was your first job? Any funny stories?
My first job was at Ponderosa. I was the “salad bar queen.” LOL!!
Who inspires you and why?
Doctors that heal children and animals are my heroes.
What is the most unique thing you’ve ever eaten?
The most unique thing I have ever eaten has to be roadkill, A.K.A a rabbit that my daddy accidentally ran over with his truck.
If you could master one skill that you don’t already have, what would it be?
The one skill that I really wish I could master would be to learn to play the piano. Additionally, I’d like to learn how to ballroom dance.
If you had to describe yourself using one animal, what would it be and why?
If I had to describe myself using an animal, I would choose a puppy because everyone loves puppies and they get carried around everywhere. People are always smiling when they have a puppy in their arms and I’d like to think that I have the same effect on those around me. 🙂
Anything else you’d like to add?
I try to laugh every day– it’s such good medicine. Plus, who wants to be around a “Debbie Downer?”

Ever since he was little Dr. J. Fred Arnold wanted to be a dentist. He has lived in Kentucky all of his life, except for three years he spent serving in the Air Force (1984-1987). He and his wife Holly have raised their family here and couldn’t imagine spending life anywhere else. They love the great schools and the emphasis on arts and culture.
